VXE Dragonfly V3 Pro — 49g of Budget Engineering?
A 49g tri-mode gaming mouse built around the PixArt PAW3395SE, ATK ONE MCU, Huano Blue Glow Pink Dot V2 switches and TTC Silver scroll encoder.
Teardown Notes
The VXE Dragonfly V3 Pro is an ultra-lightweight tri-mode wireless gaming mouse designed around a compact symmetrical shell. Measuring approximately 116.6 × 62.15 × 38.2 mm and weighing 49g ±3g, the V3 Pro uses a lightweight internal construction while retaining a 300mAh high-density battery. At the heart of the mouse is the PixArt PAW3395SE optical sensor. The sensor supports up to 18,000 DPI, with published specifications listing up to 400 IPS tracking speed and 40G acceleration. The main controller is identified as the ATK ONE self-developed MCU, part of ATK's ApexShark mouse solution. The mouse supports wired USB-C, 2.4GHz SmartSpeed wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, with a standard 1K polling rate in both wired and wireless modes. The primary clicks use Huano Blue Glow Pink Dot V2 mechanical microswitches. The scroll wheel is built around a TTC Silver encoder, providing the tactile stepped scrolling mechanism used by the V3 Pro. Power is supplied by a high-density 300mAh lithium battery. VXE lists approximately 65 hours of battery life at 1000Hz, with USB-C fast charging also supported. The shell uses VXE's nano coating and comes with pre-installed PTFE feet. The included wireless receiver is a compact 1K nano dongle. The V3 Pro is particularly interesting from a teardown perspective because it combines a PAW3395SE sensor, proprietary ATK ONE controller, Huano mechanical switches and TTC Silver encoder in a sub-50g chassis while retaining tri-mode connectivity and a relatively large 300mAh battery.
